Alan Wake Remastered has a release date

A few days ago, we told you that Remedy confirmed the upcoming release of Alan Wake Remastered. This new version of the classic survival horror thriller will put you in the shoes of the famous novelist as he returns to Bright Falls. The small town will be the scenario of his most dreadful nightmares once again. He will be witness to the disappearance of his wife, being forced to face the dark threat that hides in the deepest corners of his mind. 

The new game will offer you to experience the same thrilling storyline as its predecessor, the original Alan Wake from 2010, but it will feature enhanced graphics in 4K. Remedy has not announced any additional changes to the original game, but a graphic overhaul of the classic adventure has been more than enough to catch the attention of the fans, who were already eager to discover more about the new game from the moment it was announced. Until yesterday, we had not discovered any footage of Alan Wake Remastered, but the PlayStation Showcase 2021 event has been a perfect opportunity to reveal its announcement video.

Alan Wake Remastered will include all the content the old Alan Wake, plus both of its expansions, The Signal and The Writer, which expand the story a bit further. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store. The release date of Alan Wake Remastered was revealed along with the video yesterday. If you want to delve into this thrilling action adventure, you will have to wait until October 5. We don't know yet if Remedy will consider a remastered version of its sequel, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, but it may become a reality depending on the new game's success.
