Dark Souls 3 now has Seamless Co-op

According to the modder, if a player dies, they will simply respawn at the last bonfire they rested at—without the session being terminated or requiring the usual co-op summoning steps again.

The mod removes fog walls and area restrictions, meaning players can freely explore together without limitations. Defeating bosses and clearing areas will no longer send co-op partners back to their worlds.

Additionally, NPC dialogues and story events are synchronized across all players, and game progression made in multiplayer will carry over to each player's individual world. The mod also overhauls Dark Souls 3's peer-to-peer connection system, utilizing Steam's newer networking API for a smoother online experience.
