Has Battlefield 6 been leaked?

The news about the successor to Battlefield V has been quite scarce. There's not much information available about Battlefield 6 so far but everything seems to be starting to move since the beginning of the year. Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, confirmed not too long ago that Battlefield 6 would be revealed this spring, and that the development team was even ahead of their deadlines, which is far from being the current trend. The release of the game is scheduled for late 2021.

Since then, fans of the series have been dying to learn more about Battlefield 6, but no video or any kind of footage of the game has been published yet, at least by official channels. But it seems that Electronic Arts' announcement of an imminent Battlefield 6 reveal ten days ago has been enough to get the rumor mill moving, and today we got a potential leak in our hands. Indeed, it seems that images from the game have leaked on the Internet. It's two images low-quality images that look like taken straight out of a trailer. 

The images have been published over the weekend and they are now dividing fans of the Battlefield series in a debate about their veracity. Tom Henderson, an influencer who seems to be close to the case, has claimed that they are true, but not everyone is convinced. They seem to be consistent with what was previously rumored, namely that Battlefield 6 would feature an all-out warfare experience in the relatively near future, around the 2030s. 

None of this has been confirmed, so it's best to take this information with a pinch of salt. We should discover the truth soon enough, as the reveal of Battlefield 6 reveal is imminent, rumor has it that it may even happen this week.
