Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has a release date

The game was first revealed at Sony's Playstation 5 event last June, and the fans of the series have been eagerly waiting to play Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart since that. A new video has just been published, and it does something better than detailing the history of the game or showing its gameplay. It finally gives us the official release date for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The latest installment of the series developed by Insomniac Games will arrive on June 11, 2021, barely a year after the official announcement of the game. The release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was originally intended to happen close to the release of the Playstation 5, the only platform in which you will be able to play the game, but it's quite obvious that it's been postponed. The delay is not such a big deal due to the current shortage of next-gen consoles, which is quite likely to last for a while as predictions say that it will continue until the end of the year. It's even possible that the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which will only be available on Sony's next-gen console, has been delayed in order to give players more time to get their PlayStation 5 consoles.

Anyway, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will arrive on June 11 on Playstation 5 and it will allow you to meet your two favorite characters again. They will have to fight once more against Dr. Nefarious and thwart his plans to open rifts between different dimensions to spread chaos across the world.
