Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will launch on PC

Ratchet and Clank are two iconic characters whose adventures have been exclusive to PlayStation consoles so far, except for a couple of games for mobiles. The games in the saga combine shooting action with platforms to deliver a fast-paced experience that has many followers. The duo has been a favorite of the fans since the first game in the series was released in 2002. Since then we have seen Ratchet and Clank in many adventures but the latest installment in the series, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, is quite notable. It features impressive graphics, a standalone storyline, and a couple of new characters for the players to discover. Insomniac Games has taken that into account to choose it to be the first game in the series to be released on PC.

A welcomed launch

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart pits both friends against their evil nemesis after the events of Into the Nexus. When Doctor Nefarious tries to steal a device that can open rifts between dimensions, it activates accidentally and starts randomly opening these portals. The heroes and the villain get transported to a different dimension where they get separated. Ratchet will have to find his friend and look for a way to return back home and stop Doctor Nefarious from wreaking havoc. 

If you have not played Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PlayStation, you will discover that it's quite an exciting game, with colorful graphics and a good story. The PC version of the game features Ray Tracing, support for ultra-wide monitors, controller, full mouse and keyboard support with customizable controls, and a variety of other graphics enhancements to deliver the best possible experience.

Of course, the announcement has been received with joy by the fans of the series and newcomers that will discover it for the first time.
