Directly, I consider this Resident Evil Requiem a GOTY candidate, obviously. In one week they have sold a lot of copies, the critics are spectacular. Criticizing the game, it is almost perfect and, moreover, it is a game that remembers the fans of the saga who have been able to enjoy these games.

This game has been very well received, and I'm not at all worried about why. Capcom consistently succeeds in creating an intriguing story, with an oppressive atmosphere and credible art direction. The only reproach that can be levelled at them is the game's short duration.

There's a real sense of mastery, as much in the staging as in the gameplay. In fact, since the release of Resident Evil 2, I've found all the games in the license to be of the highest quality. The reviews and criticisms are good for its amazing attention to detail is what makes you stop and take it all in. Although I find this game has a more serious, almost sterile feel to it in some sections than any previous RE, there is not a single dull moment.

Since its release, Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem has been a huge success. On Metacritic, the game boasts an average rating of 88/100 , while gamers have given it an extremely enthusiastic reception. On Steam, it peaked at over 320,000 simultaneous players, a record for the license. Personally, I'm not surprised by these excellent ratings.
