The Lamplighters League has an official release date

Developer Harebrained Schemes has been quite busy with the creation of its latest adventure, but the studio has found enough time to release a new video that accompanies the official confirmation of a launch date for the game. If this Fall was the release window originally appointed for the upcoming tactical role-playing game, we now know that The Lamplighters League is set to release on October 3, 2023, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Stop an evil conspiracy

The Lamplighters League is an exciting adventure that puts you in control of a very special team of individuals. The members of the aforementioned League are a group of misfits and scoundrels. They are what remains of a once proud organization of scholars that opposed the machinations of an evil cult known as the Banished Court in its efforts to dominate the world.

With a turn-based tactical gameplay system that reminisces of games like XCOM 2, The Lamplighters League will pit your team of heroes against all kinds of threats in challenging missions all over the globe.  The game also features real-time infiltration mechanics, as you can explore the scenarios and use stealth to get rid of enemies in order to get an advantage in unavoidable battles.

Each of the team members has unique skills and excels in a certain field. Only by combining them will you be able to succeed and thwart the plans of the Banished Court. The game is set in an alternate version of 1930, and you can think of The Lamplighters League as a combination of sorts between The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, Indiana Jones, and The Mummy, which will yield an explosive result.
