Warhammer 40K: Darktide is becoming harder than ever
Fatshark has continued to work on Warhammer 40K: Darktide after the game was released and the results of that work are outstanding. Not only have many of the in-game mechanics been polished to make the game more appealing, but the character progression system has also been overhauled with many changes. Warhammer 40K: Darktide is more engaging and responsive than ever, allowing for an enhanced and immersive experience that is as exciting as the one delivered in Vermintide. The game even offers multiple levels of difficulty for those who are looking for a challenge. However, developer Fatshark aims to make things even harder for those looking for an extra-hard experience.
Havoc is coming
Warhammer 40K: Darktide will turn into a significantly harder experience with the introduction of the new Havoc system. This endgame progression system will introduce a new way to play for those who have reached the maximum level in the game, offering special missions featuring mutators and conditions.
"Havoc is a new tiered progression system we have been working on for Trust Level 30 players.** This system will consist of different levels, known as Order Levels. There will be 40 Order Levels in total for Havoc.
Each Order Level will incrementally increase in difficulty, with increasing negative modifiers and varying mutators. Players won’t only face increased hordes or enemies, they’ll also encounter 4 brand new mutators, including one the community has recently encountered: the Infected 21st Moebians."
All the details about the Havoc system have been explained here. It will definitely be a great addition to Warhammer 40K: Darktide as it will extend the number of activities that players can engage in at max level. The system is designed to dynamically change on a weekly basis, exponentially increasing the number of reasons to multiply your efforts to eradicate chaos cultists and abominations from Tertium.
