    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Soul Harvest mechanic, specifically the collection rate from defeated enemies, change when utilizing the 'Immortal' talent and its associated passive abilities?
The Soul Harvest rate is significantly reduced while Immortal is active, as the game is designed to encourage a more risky playstyle. Passive abilities may provide small bonuses, but the core mechanic is tuned to penalize safety.
In what ways does the 'Heroic' talent tree augment the effectiveness of secondary weapons, and how does this differ from simply leveling up weapon-specific stats?
Heroic talents provide unique scaling and effects that are independent of base weapon stats. They can introduce effects like increased critical hit chance with secondary weapons, or modify their special attacks to offer different utility, like stunning enemies.
Explain the interaction between 'Ichor' usage (healing resource) and the 'Death's Contract' mechanic; how does the penalty from the contract affect Ichor recovery and usage?
Death's Contract reduces maximum Ichor capacity and regeneration rate. This makes healing more scarce and forces a riskier playstyle. The severity of the penalty depends on the level of the Death's Contract.
How does the game's 'Grave' system work? What are the conditions for losing experience and how does it impact resource recovery when the player dies?
Upon death, a Grave appears at the location of death, containing experience. If the player dies again before recovering the Grave, the experience is lost. Recovering the grave grants experience and sometimes a portion of spent resources.
Describe in detail the impact of the 'Ethereal' mechanic on weapon scaling and damage output for weapons that have Ethereal affinity.
Ethereal affinity weapons gain bonus damage based on a percentage of your max stamina or Ichor, or a combination of both. This requires a careful balance between resource management and offensive capabilities.
How does the 'Immortal' talent interact with status effects like poison, bleed, or burn? Does it prevent their application, mitigate their damage, or something else entirely?
Immortal does not prevent status effects, and in some cases, may make them more dangerous. The strategy is not invulnerability, but managing damage. Some talents may offer limited mitigation.
Explain how the 'Oversoul' ability impacts the gameplay, particularly in relation to the 'Soul Harvest' mechanic and weapon upgrades.
Oversoul provides a temporary boost to damage output and Soul Harvest rate, but at the cost of increased Soul Harvest depletion upon activation or expiration. This encourages aggressive play, but at the risk of lost progress.
What are the primary differences between the 'Assassin' and 'Soldier' talent trees in terms of gameplay and combat style?
Assassin focuses on agility, critical hits, and applying status effects. Soldier emphasizes defensive capabilities, stamina management, and high-damage, slower attacks. This dictates playstyles.
How does the 'Death's Contract' level affect the difficulty and design of boss battles?
Higher levels of Death's Contract penalize the player, reducing their healing capabilities and increasing the risk of mistakes. This design choice forces players to be very deliberate in combat strategies.
In what specific ways can environmental interactions, such as traps and destructible objects, be used strategically to gain an advantage during combat, especially against boss encounters?
Environmental interactions are crucial. Traps can be used to damage or stun enemies, while destructible objects may reveal hidden paths or provide temporary cover. Bosses can often be lured into traps or have their attack patterns exploited by the environment.

Une pépite bien cachée, foncez si vous êtes fans de metroidvanias, les boss sont super et le jeux a plusieurs surprises ici et là, pour débuter je conseille la classe sorcier (c'est la plus pétée).
A well-hidden nugget, go for it if you're a fan of metroidvanias, the bosses are great and the game has plenty of surprises here and there. For starters, I recommend the sorcerer class (it's the best).
