The Survivalists is a fun survival sandbox game that will let you discover the joys of living on a tropical island. You will play as a castaway that arrives at the coast of a seemingly desert island. You will have to gather resources to survive and the monkeys that inhabit the island can help you with that task and many others if you manage to tame them. As you train your animal companions to help you with building and gathering resources you will discover that the island hides many secrets and dangers that can threaten your life. Your monkeys will also help you to fight against an array of mythical enemies that you will encounter while exploring the island.

The Survivalists features a very complete crafting system with a huge list of recipes that allows you to craft almost anything you could think of. You just have to gather the materials needed and choose the appropriate recipe to create the item you need, and then proceed to put it to the best use. The map and scenarios in the game are procedurally generated and they will be different for every player. The game also features a cooperative multiplayer mode in which you can enlist the help of other castaway fellows to discover the secrets of the island.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the crafting table to automatically craft items or does it require me to manually place all the required ingredients every time?

How do I ensure the monkeys I train don't starve to death while working?
You need to manually feed your monkeys by placing food in their inventory. They won't automatically eat food from a nearby chest or other storage.
Does the game feature a day/night cycle, and how does it affect gameplay?

Yes, you can craft various traps and defensive structures to protect your base. This is crucial for surviving enemy attacks, especially at night.
How does the weather affect gameplay and my survival strategy?
