Styx: Blades of Greed marks the return of the sharp-tongued goblin assassin in a new standalone stealth adventure set at the dawn of a world-spanning conflict. Once again developed by Cyanide Studio, the game builds on the foundations of the Styx series while expanding its scope, systems, and player freedom. Every mission is designed as a sandbox of shadows, verticality, and opportunity, where observation and clever planning matter more than brute force.

This time, Styx is no longer working for others. With his own crew and a zeppelin as his mobile base, he hunts Quartz, a volatile resource coveted by elves, humans, and orcs alike. As tensions escalate toward open war, Styx navigates a web of political intrigue, rival factions, and deadly inquisitors, driven by greed, survival, and his trademark cynical wit. The story ties directly into the origins of the Great War and the rise of the Black Hand mercenaries.

Stealth remains aa the core element of the experience, but with greater flexibility than ever before. Players can craft weapons and potions, unlock new abilities, and combine classic Amber powers such as cloning and invisibility with dangerous Quartz-based skills like mind control and temporal manipulation. Each encounter can be approached in multiple ways, rewarding creativity, patience, and mastery of the environment.

The game unfolds across large, interconnected locations designed for vertical exploration. Scale massive fortifications, infiltrate bustling settlements, and traverse ruined elven cities using a full suite of movement tools, including a glider, a grappling hook, and climbing claws. Progression gradually opens new routes and hidden areas, encouraging exploration and experimentation in true systemic stealth fashion.

Blending dark fantasy, tactical stealth, and sharp humor, Styx: Blades of Greed offers a refined and ambitious take on the series.
