Shades of Darkness takes place a century after the events of Might & Magic Heroes VI. This standalone (playable without the original game) expansion tells the story of Ashan with its two campaigns. This world, created by dragons, is now under the control of different factions whose conflicts have completely reshaped the face of the world. The game immerses you in the story using two new factions: the Dark Elves of Dungeon and the Necromancers of Necropolis. On top of this, you will discover seven new creatures, new hero classes, a new city, a new mount, new artifacts as well as new skills and successes. Isn't there a mistake in the description? the necropolis is in the base game, it will not arrive with the expansion. on the other hand, the sylve, the dwarves and the academy, I don't know where they come from in mignt & magic 6 (they are not in the base game). here is the list of factions : http://might-and-magic.ubi.com/universe/fr-FR/universe-world-ashan/factions/index.aspx
