The first patch for Hades II is in the works

Hades II was released in Early Access barely a week ago and it has been enough time for it to become one of the most popular roguelike games ever on Valve's platform. Built on the success and gameplay mechanics of its predecessor the new game from Supergiant Games is as exciting and addictive as the original Hades, and it also introduces new gameplay mechanics that make it more complex, engaging, and interactive. Hades II has been designed to be improved while it stays on Early Access with the help of the players, and the first bits of feedback are producing results already.

Upcoming changes

Developer Supergiant Games has revealed details about the first patch for Hades II and the community had a lot to say about the changes that it will bring to the game. The main highlights of the future patch include improvements to the gathering system to make it less of a chore. These will probably have something to do with not having the appropriate tool at some given time when trying to gather resources.

Also, the studio will implement some changes to improve Melinoë's movement abilities to make them more responsive, and the developers are considering some balance changes to widen the range of favourite options. The latter is quite an important factor in Hades II, as it prevents players from feeling punished for not choosing the best possible skills and weapons on every run, adding gameplay variety to the game.

This first update for Hades II should land sometime this month. After that, Supergiant Games intends to continue improving its creation with the help of the players in order to make Hades II an authentic masterpiece of the genre.
