Red Dead Redemption is reportedly coming to PC

The huge success of Red Dead Redemption 2 almost made its predecessor fall into oblivion. The original Red Dead Redemption was released by Rockstar Games in 2010 and it was an intense Western-themed experience that followed the adventures of John Marston a former outlaw who was coaxed by the government into capturing three dangerous members of his old gang. A thrilling story, a vast open world to explore, and three-person action were enough to satisfy a sizeable player base, but what is most important is that it set the foundations for Red Dead Redemption 2, which would become Rockstar's biggest hit outside of the Grand Theft Auto series.

Coming to PC for real?

Unfortunately, Red Dead Redemption was only released for consoles, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One in the beginning, and it would reach PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later. A PC version of the game never came out but it may change in the future if we deem it as true certain rumours. The code from the Rockstar launcher site has been data mined by Tez2, a dataminer with a long story of accurate information revealed about GTA, and he has posted the new code, which doesn't leave much room for interpretation in one of its lines.

Rockstar has not confirmed this information so you may want to take it with a pinch of salt, but it would be great to be able to play the original Red Dead Redemption on PC 14 years after its release on consoles.
