Star Citizen: no release date after 13 years

After that, the game has continued to raise money and it has now raised a total of $802,407,210. The game combines elements from the space simulation, first-person shooters, and MMO genres to offer an experience that has been growing nonstop since its development started. However, Star Citizen is only available as a paid public alpha, which is pretty much an early access of sorts.
A never-ending story
To rake in such a huge amount of cash without even releasing the game is quite an achievement in itself. However, the lack of a release date for both the single-player campaign and the MMO side of the experience can be a cause of concern for those willing to dive into Star Citizen.
