This War of Mine coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

War is a horrific experience that changes its survivors forever. The goal of the survival game This War of Mine: Final Cut is to help as many players as possible understand that, which is why developer 11 Bit Studios has announced that their masterpiece is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Released in 2019, This War of Mine: Final Cut is a harrowing survival side-scroller where you control a group of civilians attempting to survive in a ramshackle house while a war rages through the city. Each night, one of your survivors must go out in the war-torn city, braving hostile soldiers, rebels, and other dangers, to scavenge for food, materials, and tools to keep your little group alive. If that’s not enough, you must also deal with illness, hunger, criminals, the cold, and your own morals as the situation gets more desperate. From that description alone, you can say it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.  As its opening quotes state, “You can die like a dog for no reason.” 

This War of Mine: Final Cut contains all the free DLCs released since its launch, excluding the three-part Stories DLC, which explores the war through a new cast of characters with specific stories to tell. The Final Cut includes a new scenario, new quests, events, and characters, and even the vanilla version of the game. In any case, the Stories DLC will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, along with This War of Mine: Complete Edition, which contains the base game and all DLCs.
