Digimon Story: Time Stranger is a pleasant surprise for fans and newcomers alike. The gameplay revisits the classics of the series: over 450 Digimon to analyze, convert or digivolve. The combat system, while retaining a classic turn-based approach, improves its strategy and rhythm. The narrative is ambitious, combining mystery, temporal stakes and links between humans and Digimon, but the pace is not always constant, especially during the first few hours. Aesthetically, the game is often very attractive, especially in the digital world. The colorful backgrounds, varied atmosphere and digimon designs are all very well done. Certain moments are visually powerful and benefit from excellent staging. Despite a few technical and narrative shortcomings, the richness of the gameplay, the sheer number of Digimon to discover, and the respect for the spirit of the license make this a title not to be missed this year. 7,5/10

I have the impression that Digimon Story Time Stranger takes up codes found in Persona / Shin Megami Tensei, and this is far from being a bad thing. Having played the demo for a while, this seems to be a turn-based RPG with a Digimon twist. I didn't encounter any particular problems related to the game's optimization, but having a big config I'm quite well off. Honestly, this could be the best game of the license.

I was really looking forward to this Digimon Story: Time Stranger and I can say that it is a narrative and mechanical evolution within the franchise. Not only does it honor the Digimon legacy, but it also takes it to new emotional and aesthetic heights. If you are a Digimon fan, this game is a safe bet. The game is true to the franchise. You don't need to have played previous titles - Time Stranger is a perfect entry point, with a plot that stands on its own.
