A Resident Evil Village demo is available right now

Resident Evil Showcase took place yesterday and it came with a couple of surprise announcements for the game. The most important one is the launch of a free demo of Resident Evil Village that is available already on PlayStation 5. With the name of Maiden, this demo includes unique content and allows you to play as a different character from Ethan. In the demo, you need to escape from a castle dungeon and even though there is no combat, it will be more than enough to discover more about the atmosphere of Resident Evil Village. It offers an experience separate from the main game.

But Capcom has not forgotten those fans of Resident Evil that do not own a PlayStation 5. It seems that a second Resident Evil Village demo is currently in the works and we could be able to play it in spring this year. Not much information has been revealed about this new demo and we don't know yet if it'll will feature another stand-alone experience like Maiden or it will be something completely different that shows the gameplay in the main game. What we do know already is that the Resident Evil Village second demo it's coming to all platforms, and that's really good news. Of course, the demo should be available before May 7, 2021, because that's the Resident Evil Village release date on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and next-gen consoles.
