    Earth has been ravaged by the apparition of strange life forms known as Aragami. Those ravenous beings impervious to all conventional weapons devour all life wherever they appear, leaving behind a path of destruction and ultimately leaving human civilization on the verge of collapse. The only hope for humanity comes in the form of the God Eaters, humans wielding special weapons called God Arcs, that can fight and destroy the Aragami.
    The story in God Eater 3 takes place after the Ashlands arose, swallowing Fenris and their branches and reducing them to dust. The remaining survivors have fled to underground bases known as Ports, and have developed a new breed of soldiers, the Adaptive God Eaters, able to resist the corrosive effects of the Ashlands and fight the Aragamis on equal ground. But the scarcity of resources and the high value of the AGE makes that they are given no freedom, being treated almost as slaves.
    God Eater 3 is an action RPG from Bandai Namco sequel to God Eater 2: Rage Burst.
