Try Street Fighter 6 for free

This year is going to be quite special for the fans of fighting games because two iconic franchises are getting a new installment. Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 will compete to be the game of choice for millions of fans. Bandai Namco needs a bit longer to get its game ready but Capcom will launch the new installment in its legendary fighting video game series next June. Street Fighter 6 will bring back familiar characters and a new visual style alongside new gameplay mechanics to maintain the series at the top of the charts. 

Street Fighter 6 demo on PlayStation

Whether you are a fan of Street Fighter or not, you can give the game a try ahead of its release. Capcom has just dropped a free demo available to all players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The demo gives you access to the first stages of the World Tour mode. You can also create your own avatar which you will be able to use once the game launches. The game will feature many more gameplay modes but the demo should be enough to give you a good taste of Street Fighter 6. If you want to try the game but you don't own a PlayStation console, you will be able to access the demo will become available on Steam and Xbox Series X/S on April 26. 

Post-launch content

Capcom has also revealed the first four fighters that will be added to Street Fighter 6 via paid DLC after the release. Rashid and A.K.I. will be available this year, while Akuma and Ed will arrive in 2024.
