Boss fights are spectacular in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Despite the initial doubts about the game caused by the significant differences with its predecessors in gameplay mechanics, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is gaining momentum ahead of its launch. BioWare has changed many aspects of the franchise for this game. The lack of an open world to explore in a game that shifts to a mission-based structure opens the door to an experience where narrative gains relevance. Of course, this change doesn't necessarily mean that the whole story will be more linear. The developer studio is well known for creating engaging and branching stories and Dragon Age: The Veilguard comes as a good opportunity to show off its craftmanship.
It's the age of Dragons after all
With such potential, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has become a highly anticipated title and BioWare is doing quite well building the hype for the game as the launch approaches. The latest video published by the studio showcases an epic fight with the monster that gives a name to the series, a magnificent and deadly dragon. Not only the footage provides us with an overview of the game's combat mechanics but it also reveals some powerful spells, as the main character seems to be a skilled sorcerer on this occasion. The interaction between the Rook and the companions to create opportunities and combos also shines as a gameplay mechanic that will be quite important in combat.
The most notable thing about the video is that it proves something that generated certain controversy when it was stated by the developers as an explanation for the changes regarding companions. In Dragon Age: The Veilguard you are going to be too busy taking care of your character to be controlling the companions at the same time. The game allows for a tactical approach to combat, indeed, but it's packed with frantic action that will keep you on your toes at all times.
All that said, the only thing left to discover Dragon Age: The Veilguard is waiting for October 31, 2025. Remember that our comparator is the best source to get the best deal to buy a Dragon Age: The Veilguard game code if you haven't preordered this amazing RPG adventure yet.
