Assassin's Creed Shadows shows its gameplay

The game formerly known as Assassin's Creed Codename Red generated a lot of expectations due to its setting before its name was changed to Assassin's Creed Shadows. The iconic action-adventure series from Ubisoft visits the Far East for the first time, and the opportunity to explore the Land of the Rising Sun as an Assassin is something that no fan of the franchise can afford to miss. Ubisoft presented Assassin's Creed Shadows last month and revealed that it will have not one but two protagonists. The story will revolve around Naoe, an expert Assassin shinobi from Iga province, and Yasuke, the powerful African samurai of historical legends. These two characters with completely different backgrounds will be at the center of a story set in Japan at the end of the Sengoku period, and they will have an important role in the events behind the scenes that will decide the future of the Eastern nation.

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, you can play as any of the two characters and their different backgrounds also influence the approach each of them takes in combat and defines your gameplay style. While Naoe is versed in stealthy assassination techniques, Yasuke's fighting style is far more blunt and brutal. Both are two sides of a coin that you can use to progress through a thrilling story.
