Crimson Desert shows off its impressive graphics

The name Crimson Desert may not ring a bell for you unless you are one of the thousands of players who have ever dived into the fantasy universe of Black Desert Online. The latter is quite a popular MMORPG that offers a vast world to explore, a player-driven economy, a plethora of quests to complete, and a spectacular third-person combat system. Korean developer Pearl Abyss created it and the game maintains a healthy player base while being expanded regularly with new classes and other novelties. However, the developer studio is also working on a new experience that was announced several years ago. Crimson Desert is an open-world action adventure that follows the story of Kliff, captain of the Greymanes, a man who embarks on a perilous journey that will take him across the beautiful yet brutal continent of Pywel. A land torn by war where violence is often the ultimate way of solving any problem awaits you in this epic adventure.

BlackSpace Engine

Crimson Desert is not an MMORPG but a single-player adventure. However, it shares certain similarities with Black Desert Online, namely impressive graphics and exciting and dynamic action-based combat. Pearl Abyss is using a new graphics engine to create the game, BlackSpace, which results in detailed and realistic graphics that will blow your mind, especially when it comes to the recreation of water effects.
